My wife and I were looking for a winter retreat community in the Bella Terra gated community where we had rented.  I began looking for properties on-line that we might like and happened on Mike's website.  Mike called me and was most gracious over the phone.  He inquired about our stay, our plans, where we were from, who we were, what sights and restaurants we were enjoying, and, oh yes, what kind of place and price captured our interest.  It was easy to like this guy because he came across like he really cared about us and just not a sale.  Although he didn't know of anything available in Bella Terra that met our requirements, he said to keep in touch and if we wanted recommendations for great places to visit and eat to let him know.

The purchase of the property was only the beginning of Mike's service.  The condo had a renter whose lease was in effect for several months after we needed to return to our home in Wisconsin.  Mike worked us through the process of fulfilling the terms of the lease to everyone's satisfaction.  We knew that the condo would need deep cleaning, repainting, some repair and furnishing before we returned to occupy it.  After the renter moved out, Mike checked the condition of the condo out for us and gave us a report on what was needed to refurbish it.  Mike suggested reputable people who did a wonderful job with the renovation and he offered to coordinate the process.  He also suggested furniture and appointment sources that previous clients had happily used.  We had purchased a few appointments before we left for home and found that we didn't have room to take them with us.  Mike volunteered to keep them for us until we returned.  We had questions about insurance, financing, and home watch, and Mike had suggestions that we found very helpful.  He even volunteered his wife's services for decorating if we needed help in that area.  Through all of this, Mike took many phone calls and responded to many text messages.  He was always encouraging and happy to listen to our concerns and be of help.

When the renter moved out and the renewal was completed, my wife and I traveled to the condo to oversee the furniture delivery.  We were thrilled with the way the condo looked.  When Mike met us to give us the items he had stored, it was like greeting a good friend.  Mike really cares about people and loves to serve them.  He is amazing.  Very rarely does one find someone as professional, with high standards of integrity, who also cares and serves his clients like Mike does.  Mike is someone you would recommend to your dearest relative and closest friend.  Thanks for everything Mike.  You ARE the best at what you do!

A Super Star Realtor.  Our Dream Come True!

It started when my wife and I went to a retirement party for a co-worker.  When we arrived, we started talking with some friends.  Two of them were talking about their dream homes they had recently purchased down in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area of Florida and both of them had purchased their homes using the same Realtor.  It wasn't long before we were invited into the conversation where we proceeded to tell our two friends that we were also looking for a beautiful, quiet vacation/retirement home in the Florida area.  They both advised us to call the same Realtor they had used because he did it all and made it so easy for both of them.  The Realtor they spoke about was Mike McNamara and they also mentioned  that all they had to do was to fly down there.  Once in Florida, Mike took them to look at about 18 properties that they had picked out on the website Mike had set up for them while they were still at home.  Upon arriving in Florida, Mike schedule showings on a few more properties for them to see.  This all sounded too good to be true, and so easy!  I turned to my wife and quietly said "yeah, right!"  Before we left that night, one friend gave us Mike's phone number.

Within a few days after the party, we made the call and got the ball rolling for the search of our Florida dream home.   We picked out 21 properties on the website that Mike set up for us and it wasn't long before getting on a plane and flying down to Florida.  While there, we pounded the pavement for two days.  I was there for a total of 4 days.  The property we really had our hearts set on, did not happen.  The seller would not accept our offer or even counter offer.  Even though it was overpriced, sorry to say, I left for home on that 4th day feeling disappointed.

I came home remembering what Mike had said to me, "don't worry, we will find you something you will like, just trust me, it won't take long."  We knew that by spending 4 days with Mike and looking at all of those properties, we were sure Mike knew exactly what we were looking for.  

It was about a week later when we got home and the phone rang one night and it was Mike.  He let us know that what we were looking for, not to mention it was a much nicer condo in a great area with a much better view AND at a lower price, had just come on the market for sale.  Mike had gone and previewed the property for us and sent us pictures inside and out and told us that it would not last but a few days on the market.  We fell in love with it.  Trusting Mike's expertise, we bought it site unseen and our dream came true.

Mike was there for everything.  Any phone call we made he answered or called us right back.  He answered any questions we asked and advised us if he felt something wasn't right.  He did all of the paperwork, coordinated the closing for us and Julie sent us the keys!  You just can't imagine, he has a wife named Julie.  If Mike was out working on other real estate deals or checking on things, Julie had his back through the whole process.  She has done so much for us.  She even set us up with furniture and bedding stores to call that were reasonable in price.  We furnished our whole home with her help. This Testimonial is long over due.  I have spent much too long trying to find the words to express how much Mike McNamara helped us in finding a home in Bonita Springs. From our first phone call to Mike we knew we had an exceptional professional realtor.  He listened to us and in one short day we found the condo we bought.

But that was not the end of Mikes help.  We got to meet his wife Julie who graciously gave us ideas for rugs, bedding, and art work.  And advised us where to shop.  But that was not the end of Julie's help.  She picked us up at our door dropped us off at three different stores and helped usmake our condo a home. She even put the area rug in her car and delivered it!

Now you can see why I struggle to find the words to give them the praise they both so deserve.  They are a super down to earth team and we were very fortunate to have found Mike and Julie.  And we would highly recommend them to all of our friends and relatives.

What a great Realtor!  A true professional!  I had been looking for a Fort Myers condo for over a year, and without success until I found Mike McNamara, at the suggestion of a client of his.  Previously, I have used other Realtors and was never able to close a deal on a property that I wanted.

The house I purchased closed on March 17, 2009.  Buying a house can be stressful, I thought we would never close.  I am so pleased to have had Mike on my side during this process.  He went to battle for me more than a few times.  I could call him at any time without fear that I was bothering him.  In fact, he even surprised me a couple of times, calling me at 9:30 at night while he was working on my behalf.  The most impressive thing to me about Mike is that he treated me the same way he treats his million dollar clients.  He even went to bat trying to get a three year old house even cheaper than $67,000.  I would recommend him to anyone!
